Ceridian and WorkAngel announce industry-first employee well-being company

New LifeWorks company launches with 15 million users & offers an industry-first mobile Employee Engagement Platform (EEP).

London, UK, March 2, 2016 — Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company and WorkAngel, a leading mobile employee engagement and retention platform, are excited to announce they have completed a joint venture agreement and formed a new employee engagement company and power brand: LifeWorks. The combination of WorkAngel and Ceridian’s LifeWorks business underscores a commitment to deliver technological innovation alongside wellness and engagement expertise to more than 15 million users in the UK, US and Canada.

LifeWorks is an industry-first mobile Employee Engagement Platform (EEP) with integrated wellness that puts the employee at the heart of their respective organisations by delivering an action-oriented solution with functionality to address the market’s need for:

The transaction closed on March 1, 2016. Jamie True leads the LifeWorks management team as CEO, supported by President and Chief Operations Officer, Jon Harris and Chief Financial Officer, Jack Bekhor. David Ossip will serve as Chairman.
