International Day of Friendship
Published by: LifeWorks,
July 30th is International Day of Friendship. The day was officially declared by the United Nations General Assembly to promote international peace and security.
Divisions in society help to fuel violence and conflict. If we are all more willing to learn about other cultures and be open to new friendships, then we will help to promote the spirit of human solidarity and peace.
And if we teach children learn to live together peacefully then will ensure security, development and social harmony for the future of our world.
